30 Nov INNOLPHAE® SLEEP: THE SENSORY ACTIVE INGREDIENT FOR OPTIMUM SLEEP
“Good sleep is half the journey to a healthy body and mind“. And yet today there is every reason to believe that our health and well-being are under threat. According to separate studies*, seven out of ten people suffer from recurrent sleep problems, and more than one in three people say they are not satisfied with their sleep. Waking from sleep is also highlighted, with more than eight out of ten people waking up in the middle of the night. All these factors highlight the deterioration in people’s sleep over the last few years and its impact on everyday life.
Stress and anxiety are among the main causes of sleep disorders: 35% of anxious people suffer from insomnia and 54% of insomniacs suffer from anxiety. Stress has an impact on our health, particularly in terms of sleep disorders. It leads to problems falling asleep and sleep that is neither good quality nor restful… Stress and sleep are therefore closely linked: stress leads to sleep disorders, but difficulties in sleeping also encourage the onset of stress, and the impact on well-being is not negligible. It’s a vicious circle that is best avoided!
Putting sleep quality back at the centre of concerns has become an essential part of everyday well-being. At Phodé, well-being has always been central to our concerns. It is the foundation of our scientific approach. Our teams are committed to breaking new ground and exploring unique paths to shape the active ingredients of tomorrow with one objective in mind: make better-being the cornerstone of all our solutions.
Innolphae® Sleep is a nutraceutical active ingredient developed by Phodé Research to act on one of the major consequences of stress: sleep disorders. The unique combination of neroli essential oil (Citrus aurantium, var. amara), traditionally used to treat sleep disorders, with the anti-stress active ingredient Innolphae® promotes good quality, peaceful sleep, essential for everyday well-being.
With its unique composition, Innolphae® Sleep promotes relaxation and leads to a state of physical and emotional well-being. What is more, thanks to its global approach to stress management, it helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep and the number of night-time awakenings, leading to the quality of sleep needed for a restful night.
The result of years of research, the sensory active ingredient Innolphae® Sleep uses the retronasal route to act directly on the areas of the brain involved in stress management. A unique and innovative mode of action, a true signature of our expertise and our knowledge of olfaction and the many subtleties associated with it.
