WHY USE CRISTALFEED?
Cristalfeed flavourings are useful for helping livestock (ruminants – swine) overcome dietary challenges such as feed transitions, changes in raw materials or new feed.
Specially adapted to the needs of the animal, the Cristalfeed range is available in a wide variety of flavour profiles (milk-cream, vanilla, red fruits, fenugreek, etc.).

Aniseed and certain plant extracts have a persistent flavour and taste that is particularly appreciated by ruminants. Their attractant properties are widely recognised and they are also excellent masking agents for mineral formulations.
In addition, spices stimulate animals’ salivary and digestive processes, helping make the most of the ration.

A herbs & spices flavour is so much more than simply herbs and spices and can often differ from other flavours of its kind. Ellipsense, a visual representation developed by Phodé to illustrate the sensory identity of flavourings, is there to guide you to a deeper understanding of the flavouring. It helps put the perception of flavour characteristics into words by incorporating the notions of temporality and the mechanisms of perception.

Red fruit odours, especially strawberry, are well recognised by both young and adult animals.

VANILLA MILK
Young and adult animals are naturally attracted to milky and vanilla scents as well as to sweet flavours.
Phodé has identified and distilled olfactory markers derived from maternal colostrum as well as plant-based active ingredients into its Cristalfeed flavours. They activate and potentiate the perception of sweetness.

WHAT FORMS DOES CRISTALFEED COME IN?
